The DreamCloud is rated a 6.5 out of 10 on the firmness scale, a "Luxury Firm". This will satisfy even couples with differing opinions on mattress firmness - the contouring comfort and pushback support creates the perfect compromise. Generally speaking, we describe both of our mattresses as medium-firm in feel. However, we also understand even that description can be subjective. Two people sleeping on the same mattress might have contrasting opinions - it could be too soft, too firm, or just right. The DreamCloud Mattress is the latest mattress (released July, 2020) and is a 5-Layer Hybrid Design:

Our Tuft & Needle Mattress is the original, universally comfortable mattress that changed an entire industry. Mint® is everything that makes the original great, with exciting new features:

• 3" Tuft & Needle Adaptive® foam (3.5lb density) infused with ceramic gel
• 2" Tuft & Needle Adaptive® foam (3.0lb density) infused with graphite
• 6.5" High-density polyurethane foam foundation (1.8lb density)
• Four sides of edge support (1.8lb density).

DreamCloud's stay-put technology means you won't feel a thing when your partner rolls over. Individually wrapped coils mean vibrations don't travel because the coils are not directly connected to each other; therefore, when pressure is placed on one coil, it will not drag others down with it. The supportive foam layer also drastically reduces feeling any movements.

No matter what position you prefer to sleep in, individually wrapped coils adapt to your sleep shape. High-density gel memory foam relieves your pressure points by diagnosing where you need support the most. The foam cradles your shoulders, hips and problem areas by gently contouring to your body.

The three layers in the Mint® Mattress work together to provide remarkable support that you'll find comfortable immediately as well as throughout the night. We increased the softness of the top layer for better pressure relief, increased the firmness of the bottom support layer (for edge support), and added a middle transitional layer to keep you from "bottoming" out.

   We optimized the top layer of Tuft & Needle Adaptive® Foam to be a progressive combination of comfy and pressure relieving.

   Our progressive support and super comfortable top layers are designed to remove pressure points and bring relief.

The memory foam layer cushions the body at its most sensitive areas, like the pressure points while offering that much-loved traditional memory foam feel of softness, cushion and relief.
The support layer provides resistance against the body and stops you sinking in too far and feeling the coils below.
Edge-to-edge innerspring coils create a supportive surface that flexes to conform to individual curves and contours of the body. Three rows of higher-gauge coils are used for the perimeter to increase the edge support and reduce the "rolling off" the edge feeling.
The base support layer provides the structure and stability for all the layers above.

The DreamCloud mattress is wrapped in a Cashmere blend cover that is soft-to-the-touch (Made with Polyester, Rayon and Cashmere). The "tight-top" design of quilting the cover with the first foam layer offers added comfort and some loft - but not quite as much as loft as the DreamCloud Premier with the Euro Top. Whilst the cover isn't removable or washable it will keep you cozy and cool thanks to the breathable blend of fabrics.

Our ultra plush Mint® Mattress cover is made with polyester and viscose. It has a super soft, cozy touch and adds just a hint of cushion. Viscose is commonly known as rayon and is used in clothing. We ask that customers do not remove our cover at any time, as the cover is not designed to be removed for any reason. The zipper on the bottom of the mattress is for assembly only.
