You like firm and your partner likes medium? You will love the Latex Hybrid as you can order it with the latex split on the inside to create a custom sleep environment on either side of the bed (offered in King and Cal King sizes only). The firm is a 7.5-8, the medium is rated a 4.5-5 and the plush a 3-3.5. The split allows any combination of the 3 firmnesses on each side of the mattress (plush/firm, med/firm or plush/med).
Medium is recommended for those of an average weight, who want to feel supported by the mattress, with a little give and if you are a combination sleeper (back and side sleeper). Firm is more suited for back or stomach sleepers, those who prefer a firm sleeping surface, with a plush pillow top, or if recommended by a medical professional. Plush is most suited to side sleepers, those who are under 140 lbs, and sleepers looking for pressure point relief and gentle support.

It rates as a medium-firm mattress, but really combines the best of both firm and soft products. It's the perfect balance of comfort and support. Our provides superior pressure relief, with little bounce, and zero motion transfer. Essentially you feel like you're floating on a cloud. Our four-layer weightless foam system combines a plush top layer with increasingly firmer base layers, to deliver an optimal combination of comfort and support. We refined our mattress through 27 rounds of testing, optimizing for pressure-relief at all five key pressure points. We tested a range of body types and sizes, ensuring that the W1.27 would be supremely comfortable for almost all people, while still providing full body support.

The 3" OEKO-TEX® Certified Natural Talalay Latex layer is available in different firmness levels. This latex is made in the USA and utilizes a method referred to as Continuous Pour, which evenly distributes latex particles within the manufacturing process and creates the most consistent density possible.

To keep our mattress from overheating, we developed an extraordinary new foam called 3BELOW™. It's a fully breathable, open-cell material, infused with heat-conductive gel particles. That means it actually draws heat from your body and disperses it throughout the mattress so it escapes more quickly. As a result, the W1.27 sleeps three degrees cooler than other foam mattresses, right in the sweet spot for deep, uninterrupted sleep.

The top of this mattress features a soft pillow top design, consisting of plush organic stretch knit cotton and quilting foam.
