The plush is about a 3.5 on the firmness scale, the medium a 6 and the firm an 8. The medium is the most popular and recommended for combination sleeper, back and side sleepers. Also for those who want to feel supported by your mattress, with a little give. Side sleepers will usually prefer the plush option, or if you are looking for pressure point relief and gentle support. The plush option is also recommended if you are under 140 lbs.

The Finch can be ordered in 2 unique feels; medium (4-4.5) and firm (7-7.5), making it the ideal mattress for any sleep style. Dual firmness for couples (available in King and Cal King sizes) - get firm on one side and medium on the other - ideal when you and your sleeping partner have different preferences or needs in a mattress. Medium is recommended for combination sleepers: back and side sleepers; if you are an average weight; if you want to feel supported by your mattress, with a little give. Firm is recommended for back or stomach sleepers; if you are a side or back sleeper who require additional lumbar support; if you prefer a firm sleeping surface, with a plush pillow top.

Each mattress once ordered, will begin its journey from scratch. Each component is carefully sourced, cleansed, and prepared, prior to going into your mattress. The Finch Natural Latex Mattress feels delightfully comfortable with plenty of support. All latex used to construct this mattress is allowed time to off-gas in Nest Bedding's factory, to decrease the scent of your new mattress. The Finch was designed with a zipper to allow you to get the most out of your mattress and decrease the amount of mattress waste in landfills. During your trial period, you may exchange to another feel by simply unzipping your mattress and placing a new comfort layer inside. Rotate or flip your feel layer every six months to evenly distribute wear. If decreasing waste and getting more out of your mattress isn't enough, you can also opt to purchase a comfort layer from Nest Bedding years down the road. This allows you to double or even triple the lifespan of your mattress.

The latex layer is encased in a layer of organic cotton, allowing for ease of adjustment. The pocket-coil springs are placed in a certified organic cotton encasement to prevent shifting over time.

The naturally durable cover is made of 100% Certified GOTS Organic Cotton and GOTS Organic Wool; providing a natural fire retardant with heat-dissipating and moisture-wicking qualities.
USA-made in Texas with virgin steel; the individually wrapped coil system offers ample air flow for dispersing heat and is encased with organic cotton.

Designed to achieve neutral spine support while providing a pressure-free sleep surface. A firm layer of OEKO-TEX® Certified Natural Talalay latex to provide support for the sleeper, as well as structure and durability to the mattress.

The second layer is where we achieve different firmness levels. The GOLS Certified Organic Dunlop Latex utilizes a method referred to as Continuous Pour, which evenly distributes latex particles within the manufacturing process and creates the most consistent density possible.

A soft but resilient Eco-Flex polyfoam used to give a plush and pillow top feel that won't flatten or compress over time.
The 3" Natural Talalay Latex layer is where you can exchange for different firmness levels. This latex is manufactured using the Continuous Pour method, which evenly distributes latex particles and creates the most consistent density possible.

We use unbleached certified organic cotton knit and woven fabrics to create a high-quality exterior cover. No chemical treatments. GOTS certified organic wool which has been sourced from New Zealand, where the highest standards and regulations are adhered to in the world. GOLS (Global Organic Latex Standard) certified organic latex used in this mattress is the purest available. Free from synthetic fillers, then wrapped in an easy to move the layer of organic cotton.

Natural Cotton and Joma Wool add to create a cool and comfortable sleep environment. The Eco-Flex foam is quilted into the organic stretch knit cotton and Joma Wool® cover creating natural bounce and soft support atop the bottom two layers of certified natural latex.
