The Quail Memory Foam Mattress is available in Medium (5) and Firm (8). The medium is the most popular, and recommended if you are a combination sleeper, back and side sleeper. If you want to feel supported by your mattress, with a little give. If you are an average weight. Firm is recommended if you mainly sleep on your back or stomach. Foam Encased Comfort Edge: Increases usable sleep surface by allowing you to sleep all the way to the edge without feeling like falling off. Creates a better edge for entering, exiting and sitting on the side of the mattress.
