The Birch Mattress was designed with a medium-firm feel. If you're looking for something softer, we offer a Plush Pillow Top that lays directly on top of your Birch to provide an extra soft layer - this 3" pillow top can be purchased after you receive the mattress if you do want a softer feel or with your mattress.

Spindle's unique design gives us options if we need to tweak your comfort. You have up to 365 days to determine if an all-latex mattress fits your needs. If we can't get you comfortable we'll refund your money. The medium is a great choice for most people. The mattress ships with one layer of firm latex and two layers of medium. You fine-tune your bed to reach your personal ahhhhhhhh. You no longer have to lose sleep over which firmness is right.

Our materials come from nature - whether it be wool sustainably sheared from New Zealand sheep or latex tapped from trees. These premium materials are comfortable on your body and conscience.

Eco Wool Batting offers a chemical free flame barrier between the latex and you. No chemical flame retardants; no chlorinated or brominated solvents. The sheep are raised humanely and the wool is processed in accordance with the Eco-Wool guidelines.

Talalay latex is up to 7 times more breathable than other types of latex. Natural latex is also hypoallergenic and anti-microbial.

Natural rubber provides a unique sleeping experience that provides great support and cushion. It has a mellow feel that many find more comfortable than other mattress designs. Natural Talalay latex provides response to cushion your pressure points while giving support. Our latex is carefully managed to ensure consistency.
Hundreds of individual steel coils help to cradle your body and provide support, while also limiting motion transfer. Additionally, the reinforced perimeter coils provide best in class edge support.

Your Birch Mattress is gently compressed, rolled, and put in a box for easy shipping! We ship via FedEx Ground direct from the manufacturer to your door. Delivered for free typically in 4 to 8 business days.

Spindle offers free shipping anywhere in the contiguous 48 States excluding U.S. Military APO/FPO addresses and PO Boxes. Shipping is available to Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada - additional fees apply. We ship our mattresses unassembled. You simply place three layers of natural latex inside a zipper casing and you've made your own latex mattress. This way we can ship them to you via Fedex. Plus, it makes them a lot easier to move around.
