The Aslan mattress is a medium-firm (comfortable, yet supportive) sleep system comprised of the latest in sleep technology.

You like firm and your partner likes medium? You will love the Latex Hybrid as you can order it with the latex split on the inside to create a custom sleep environment on either side of the bed (offered in King and Cal King sizes only). The firm is a 7.5-8, the medium is rated a 4.5-5 and the plush a 3-3.5. The split allows any combination of the 3 firmnesses on each side of the mattress (plush/firm, med/firm or plush/med).
Medium is recommended for those of an average weight, who want to feel supported by the mattress, with a little give and if you are a combination sleeper (back and side sleeper). Firm is more suited for back or stomach sleepers, those who prefer a firm sleeping surface, with a plush pillow top, or if recommended by a medical professional. Plush is most suited to side sleepers, those who are under 140 lbs, and sleepers looking for pressure point relief and gentle support.

Foam selected for the Aslan mattress is considered a specialty foam, very durable, and contains the latest visco-elastic and cooling technologies, like Phase Change Material (originally developed for space suits), GEL, and advanced air flow - features that are necessary to regulate sleeping temperature and help you be cooler at night.

A Natural Latex Hybrid that delivers adjustable comfort and superior sleep, naturally. Available in three comfort layers, Firm, Medium, and Soft. The Owl Natural Latex Hybrid with a zipper to allow you to get the most out of your mattress and decrease the amount of mattress waste. During your initial 365-night trial, you may exchange to another feel by simply unzipping your mattress and placing a new comfort layer inside. It's recommended that you rotate or flip your feel layer every six months to distribute wear evenly. If decreasing waste and getting more out of your mattress isn't enough, you can also opt to purchase a comfort layer from Nest Bedding in the future. This allows you to double or even triple the lifespan of your Owl Natural Latex Hybrid mattress! Furthermore, all latex is aired out in Nest Bedding's factory to allow any strong scent to dispel. Doing this helps minimize any natural scent.

Inside your Owl Natural Latex Hybrid mattress is a comfort layer engineered to bring gentle support and pressure relief.

Our top layer of memory foam combines 3 cooling technologies; phase change material, open-cell viscoelastic and beaded gel-foam technology - providing improved temperature regulation and reduced pressure points.

The 3" OEKO-TEX® Certified Natural Talalay Latex layer is available in different firmness levels. This latex is made in the USA and utilizes a method referred to as Continuous Pour, which evenly distributes latex particles within the manufacturing process and creates the most consistent density possible.

The Next Generation Memory Foam provides a little bounce, quick rebound, and exceptional durability. This layer has a very high pressure relieving index and is the perfect transition (for all body types) to the Active Support foam.
The Active Support foam is a high quality, tried and true durable support foam that holds its physical properties over time and is designed to correctly align your spine for an ideal sleep position.

Natural latex that provides an instant responsiveness to your body causing you to feel supported in all the right places.
The transitional foam layer allows your bodies weight distribution to evenly press against the surface area of the coils underneath it.
The individually wrapped coil system offers reinforced edge support allowing you to sleep edge-to-edge without the feeling of falling or rolling off the mattress.
The base foam layer is purely structural. When pressure is applied to the coil system, this layer is there to act as a buffer between your foundation and the mattress.

The Aslan Mattress features a soft knit, breathable cover that is designed to prevent heat buildup in the mattress. It is made in the USA and does not contain chemical fire retardents. Spot clean only.

The top of this mattress features a soft pillow top design, consisting of plush organic stretch knit cotton and quilting foam.

Your new mattress can take up to 2-4 business days to make as they are made to order by hand in the USA. Then, we ship from the West Coast, so depending on where you live, it can take 1-5 business days in transit.
