Generally speaking, we describe both of our mattresses as medium-firm in feel. However, we also understand even that description can be subjective. Two people sleeping on the same mattress might have contrasting opinions - it could be too soft, too firm, or just right. You like firm and your partner likes medium? You will love the Latex Hybrid as you can order it with the latex split on the inside to create a custom sleep environment on either side of the bed (offered in King and Cal King sizes only). The firm is a 7.5-8, the medium is rated a 4.5-5 and the plush a 3-3.5. The split allows any combination of the 3 firmnesses on each side of the mattress (plush/firm, med/firm or plush/med).
Medium is recommended for those of an average weight, who want to feel supported by the mattress, with a little give and if you are a combination sleeper (back and side sleeper). Firm is more suited for back or stomach sleepers, those who prefer a firm sleeping surface, with a plush pillow top, or if recommended by a medical professional. Plush is most suited to side sleepers, those who are under 140 lbs, and sleepers looking for pressure point relief and gentle support.

The three layers in the Mint® Mattress work together to provide remarkable support that you'll find comfortable immediately as well as throughout the night. We increased the softness of the top layer for better pressure relief, increased the firmness of the bottom support layer (for edge support), and added a middle transitional layer to keep you from "bottoming" out.

The 3" OEKO-TEX® Certified Natural Talalay Latex layer is available in different firmness levels. This latex is made in the USA and utilizes a method referred to as Continuous Pour, which evenly distributes latex particles within the manufacturing process and creates the most consistent density possible.

The individually wrapped coil system offers reinforced edge support allowing you to sleep edge-to-edge without the feeling of falling or rolling off the mattress.
The base foam layer is purely structural. When pressure is applied to the coil system, this layer is there to act as a buffer between your foundation and the mattress.

Our ultra plush Mint® Mattress cover is made with polyester and viscose. It has a super soft, cozy touch and adds just a hint of cushion. Viscose is commonly known as rayon and is used in clothing. We ask that customers do not remove our cover at any time, as the cover is not designed to be removed for any reason. The zipper on the bottom of the mattress is for assembly only.

The top of this mattress features a soft pillow top design, consisting of plush organic stretch knit cotton and quilting foam.
