The Nod mattress offers a medium firmness, so it's perfectly in the middle in terms of feel. It's soft to the touch, but very supportive when you lay out on the surface as it responds to your weight.

Exclusive to Amazon, the Nod is 100% polyurethane foam and not comprised of their proprietary T&N Adaptive foam. It has 2 layers of construction:

• 2.5" Comfort Layer of Responsive Foam
• 5.5" Supportive Base Layer.

The TEMPUR-PRObreeze° is up to 3° cooler. The TEMPUR-LUXEbreeze° is up to 8° cooler. Only breeze® mattresses are cool when you lie down, cool when you fall asleep, and cool all night long! Our new breeze® mattresses were designed in our thermal laboratory to help manage the micro-climate between your mattress and your covers for a cooler, deeper sleep all night long. Research suggests a cooler sleep environment helps you fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer with less tossing and turning... for better quality sleep.

The foam used in the Nod mattress is an open-celled polyurethane foam that we engineered to have the benefits of memory foam's pressure relief and latex's support, without their drawbacks (like memory foam's sinking and sleeping hot, and latex's lack of pressure relief). That said, both memory and synthetic latex foams are subsets of polyurethane foam.

Being comfortable isn't all about a soft top layer, we designed our mattress to give you the support you need for a restful night's sleep.

Cool when you lie down: Our SmartClimate™ Dual cover system feels instantly cool.
Cool as you fall asleep: For the next 20 minutes, you'll feel the cooling sensation of our advanced PureCool+™ Phase Change Material.
Cool all night long: Over the next 8 hours, the extremely breathable comfort layer, TEMPUR-CM+ ™, allows the heat and humidity normally trapped under the covers to be cycled out of the mattress.

We chose an open-cell foam which allows air to freely flow throughout the night, overcoming foam's reputation for sleeping hot.

The TEMPUR-PRObreeze° uses the Original TEMPUR® Support Layer which has advanced adaptability for truly personalized comfort and support. The TEMPUR-LUXEbreeze° has a TEMPUR-APR™ Support Layer that delivers all the pressure relief of the original APR but with a tighter, more advanced cell structure for ultra-conforming comfort.

We designed our top layer to be adaptive without feeling like quicksand - cradling your pressure points and meeting you where you are.

The Nod Mattress cover is a viscose/polyester blend.

We offer Free White Glove Delivery within the continental United States for mattress + foundation and mattress + adjustable base orders. We bring them to your home, set them up for you, remove the packing materials, and even remove your old mattress and box spring if you want us to. Delivery time varies, depending on the distance from one of our delivery hubs to your home. Average delivery is 1 - 2 weeks, depending on your location.
