The base model (CF1000) is a medium comfort. Choose the cooling upgrade (CF2000) model if you prefer a firm feel. Both the Max Cooling Upgrade (CF3000) and Max Cooling & Pressure Relief Upgrades (CF4000) offer a selection of feels - medium, plush, ultra plush and firm, plush, ultra plush.

The Natural Escape is a medium-firm mattress. Which is suited for all body types, as well as stomach, back and side sleepers.

With the iComfort by Serta® mattress, cool, supportive sleep is the priority. The base model (CF1000) has these layers:

• Carbon Fiber Memory Foam
• EverCool® Fuze Gel Foam.

Three upgrades are available at additional cost.

The Natural Escape mattress is the most luxurious option, with a 2 layer construction:

• GOTS-Certified Organic Cotton quilted cover with GOTS-Certified Organic wool sewn in underneath
• 3" GOLS-Certified Dunlop latex (Density: 65, ILD: 22-24)

The GOTS-certified organic wool batting is sourced from sheep that are allowed to graze freely in organic pastures. The wool acts as the only flame retardant, and is hypoallergenic, temperature regulating, and 100% biodegradable.

Multi-layered foam technology adds support, resilience, and temperature regulation for the coolest, most comfortable sleep ever.

The Natural Escape is handcrafted with a responsive zoned pocketed coil spring system with enhanced lumbar support and a supportive edge. Tighter coils along the edges of the mattress provide a firmer seating edge. With proper support across the entire mattress you can sleep from edge to edge and top to bottom. Steel springs will last up to 4 times longer than a foam support edge.

Every iComfort mattress is made with our exclusive Carbon Fiber Memory Foam. This system channels heat away from your body.
Gel Active® Max Foam (used only in CF2000 model) is an open celled memory foam helps promote airflow, so you don't have that hot, stuffy feeling when falling asleep.
UltraCold System™ (used in the CF3000 and CF4000 models) The layer of extra-cool Carbon Fiber Memory Foam is engineered to work hard at absorbing excess heat from your body, then channel it away, all while you sleep comfortably.

Innerspring mattresses sleep up to 30% cooler than foam mattresses.
The cell structure of latex makes your mattress breathable, which means you will be cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. Latex is also ideal for allergy sufferers. It is naturally hypoallergenic, dust mite resistant, and antimicrobial, which inhibits the growth of bacteria, mold, and mildew. With no worries about chemicals, and no tossing and turning, you will sleep more deeply and awaken ready for a new day.

Carbon Fiber Memory Foam provides exceptional strength for back and neck support.
Air Support™ Foam (used only in CF4000 model) moves with your body and contours around it to help alleviate aches and pains caused by pressure points.

Individual coils react to body shape and weight to keep pressure off your bones and joints. The coils across the center third of the mattress have a heavier gauge wire and are nested closer together providing additional firmness to hold up the heaviest part of your body and properly align your spine. 13.5 gauge coils at the perimeter for a firmer seating edge, 15.5 gauge coils in the majority of the sleep surface and 14.5 gauge coils throughout the center third of the mattress for improved lumbar support. Each fabric-encased coil moves independently to allow deep sleep even when your partner moves.
Latex is supportive and alleviates pressure points that can cause stiffness, pain, tossing and turning.

A Max Cold™ Cover is used in the CF3000 and CF4000 models. Made from super cool high-performance fibers for an instant cool-to-the-touch sensation.

A GOTS-certified organic cotton and GOTS-certified organic wool quilted cover that provides an additional layer of comfort and acts as a natural flame retardant. This mattress is button tufted, a time-honored technique that allows the layers of the mattress to be secured together without the use of adhesives.

Serta mattresses are shipped using the fastest, safest, and most reliable method possible. After ordering, you will be contacted by XPO Logistics to schedule a delivery day and time.

After we receive your order, we typically begin building your mattress the next day. We offer free shipping via FedEx to the contiguous United States. Our mattresses are made-to-order one at a time in our family's factory. We then compress, roll and box each mattress and ship via FedEx to your door in two weeks or less.
