Certain independent reviews for comparison on mattress firmness rate the Bear Mattress a 7.1 on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being most firm.

• Base Layer: 4" 2.0 lbs density polyurethane foam

Proprietary memory foam technology & mattress design combines 3 layers of foam:

• Bear Dynamic Foam
• High-Density Support Foam.
