Generally speaking, we describe both of our mattresses as medium-firm in feel. However, we also understand even that description can be subjective. Two people sleeping on the same mattress might have contrasting opinions - it could be too soft, too firm, or just right. Our Tuft & Needle Mattress is the original, universally comfortable mattress that changed an entire industry. Mint® is everything that makes the original great, with exciting new features:

• 3" Tuft & Needle Adaptive® foam (3.5lb density) infused with ceramic gel
• 2" Tuft & Needle Adaptive® foam (3.0lb density) infused with graphite
• 6.5" High-density polyurethane foam foundation (1.8lb density)
• Four sides of edge support (1.8lb density).

Ever notice that copper pipes are always ice cold? We've discovered that copper is the preferred material for most cooling systems because it doesn't hold onto the heat around it. This combined with our open cell memory foam results in your mattress never getting hot.

The use of copper reduces joint inflammation and helps ease joint pain and stiffness. This is especially helpful for people with rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. We want our customers to be able to move around with as much freedom as possible.
Better Blood Circulation
People wear copper bracelets to improve their body's blood circulation. Since copper emits a number of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties, we thought that there would be no better way to improve your sleep than through improving your blood flow.

The three layers in the Mint® Mattress work together to provide remarkable support that you'll find comfortable immediately as well as throughout the night. We increased the softness of the top layer for better pressure relief, increased the firmness of the bottom support layer (for edge support), and added a middle transitional layer to keep you from "bottoming" out.

Ordering our layers in a gradual firmness combines comfort and support. The more you push, the more it pushes back to meet you.
2. More Gel Beads
30% more gel beads in our second layer add cushion-like support.
3. More Edge Support
Our improved, firmer base layer adds comfortable edge support.

Our new covers now have a hexagon pattern. Not only did we make the new mattress cover double-sided, so you no longer have to remove the cover to flip it, but we've made it in a way that clearly distinguishes which side is soft, and which side is firm by labeling each side and making them two completely different colors. This makes it much easier for the customer to know which side they're sleeping on, and also saves time in the flipping process. In addition, we are the first mattress company in the world to implement a proprietary "softening" process to our fabric which you'll be able to feel makes our covers much softer than any of our competitor's.

Our ultra plush Mint® Mattress cover is made with polyester and viscose. It has a super soft, cozy touch and adds just a hint of cushion. Viscose is commonly known as rayon and is used in clothing. We ask that customers do not remove our cover at any time, as the cover is not designed to be removed for any reason. The zipper on the bottom of the mattress is for assembly only.

Once an order has been placed, it will take us 2-3 business days to build, compress, and pack your Layla mattress before shipping it to you via FEDEX Ground. Shipments originate from Phoenix, AZ.

Standard shipping is done via FedEx Ground and is free within the contiguous United States. Ships in 2-7 business days.
