The GhostBed 3D Matrix is a 5.5 to 6.5 out of 10 on the firmness scale (10 = too hard, 0 = too soft). The feel is slightly softer than the GhostBed and similar to the Flex.

The Bear Pro is rated a 7 on the firmness scale, with 1 being soft and 10 being firm. The Pro's responsive foams provide medium-firm support and the perfect amount of bounce. Contours and cradles the body, but with a nice bounce. Pressure point relief for Side Sleepers who don't want their arms to fall asleep at night. Just the right amount of bounce for Back Sleepers who don't like the "sinking" feeling of too much memory foam.

3D Matrix Polymer Layer offers 3 dimensions of comfort:

• The 3D Matrix layer is an integrated thermal conductive gel polymer. As excess heat accumulates under and around the sleeper, it is absorbed into 3D Matrix layer. As a fully connected sheet, that absorbed heat travels away from the sleeper.
• Conventional Foam layers comfort you by compressing as different parts of the body "press" on the foam. The 3D Matrix layer is an omni directional layer which stretches in all directions to mold and contour to each individual part of the sleeper's body.
• The 3D Matrix layer is ergonomically designed which allows the sleeper to sleep on the mattress, NOT in it.

We use different types of foam Copper, Gel, and open-cell to whisk away unwanted body heat. So you'll stay cool throughout the night. Copper creates a naturally antiviral and antibacterial environment.

Featuring the same cover used in other GhostBed models, the cover contains a proprietary formulation developed in Japan where cooling properties are woven directly into the fibers of the yarn, creating the Ghost Ice Fabric. The Ghost Ice Fabric is instantly cool to the touch, and will absorb and trap heat that is released by the body. Molecular changes in the fabric will neutralize the heat, keeping the sleeping surface cool.
