While we designed the Bear Mattress to have a solid core support with a nice touch of softness on top for comfort, we would categorize the mattress as a medium-firm. Certain independent reviews for comparison on mattress firmness rate the Bear Mattress a 7.1 on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being most firm.

After many iterations, we finally nailed what we think is the perfect recipe for the ideal medium-firm feel. A 4.5 to 6.5 on the firmness scale.

Proprietary memory foam technology & mattress design combines 3 layers of foam:

• Cooling Gel Memory Foam
• Bear Dynamic Foam
• High-Density Support Foam.

Built-in plush topper is actually a combination of 3 foams, which make up 1 layer, comprising:

• 1" of memory foam (2lb density 9 ILD)
• 0.25" of super soft foam (1.5lb density 20 ILD)
• 0.25" of super soft foam (1.125lb density 20 ILD)
• Layer 2: 1" of air flow foam (2.75lb density)
• Layer 3: 2.5" super soft foam (1.7lb density)
• 7.5" 13 gauge individually wrapped coils.

Cooler Sleep
Graphite-Gel + high airflow, open cell Response Foam increase cooling and conductivity up to 7x more than traditional foam mattresses.

Your Bear Sleep Products typically ship from our warehouse within 2-4 business days after your order is completed. Depending on where you're located in the country our Bear Sleep Products will usually arrive at your door in 4-7 business days.

It typically takes 24-48 hours to process your order. Once it ships, you'll receive an email with your tracking number so you can track your order as it makes its way to your home. Depending on where you live, ground shipping takes anywhere between 2-7 business days to arrive to your door.
